"Chronicle Books helped us create the beautiful cookbook Salumi: Savory Recipes and Serving Ideas for Salame, Prosciutto, and More, providing editorial, design, and production expertise that made our vision a reality."
We wanted a cookbook to expand our market, as well as communicate our long history and tradition as new salumi producers emerged. The first goal was achieved by offering delicious recipes that used salumi as key ingredients. This expanded the possibilities of people who were used to simply enjoying salame and prosciutto in sandwiches. Salumi achieved the second goal by artfully telling the story of our salumi heritage, and explaining why Columbus has been a fixture in grocery stores for more than 75 years."
